With our previous Sydney Volunteer Coordinator moving into a new exciting role in the team, an exciting opportunity has opened up in our NSW Team! The role of the Sydney Volunteer Coordinator is focused on sourcing, engaging, nourishing and managing our Sydney ‘Yellow Army’. An incredible and extraordinary family of volunteers who enable OzHarvest’s Purpose of Nourishing Our Country.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Manage the recruitment and selection of volunteers
• Develop the weekly OzHarvest volunteer communication
• Schedule and coordinate volunteer rosters for activities, programs and events
• Contribute to the growth and development of volunteer opportunities to offer meaningful engagement to our Sydney volunteer team

The successful candidate will process:

• Experience in volunteer coordination, HR Management (including recruitment, selection, induction), Workforce Management or Project Management
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, coordinate, and supervise volunteers or staff
• Strong ability to build relationships
