We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our incredible cause. The Nutrition Education Sustenance Training (NEST) Coordinator’s key purpose is to educate people in need, who face food insecurity, to lead healthier lives.

Key responsibilities of this important role are:

• Delivery of the NEST program in accordance with current NEST Trainers Handbook and processes
• Delivery and supervision of volunteers involved in the cooking workshops with focus on providing nutritional information
• Manage, train and develop volunteers/facilitators to effectively deliver NEST programs
• Maintain NEST workshop database, provide Bi-Monthly NEST updates on workshop delivery and participation in monthly NEST teleconference
• Work with the State Managers and the NEST Program Manager to identify and set goals and measures of success and ensure these are met
• Report on the delivery of NEST programs to fulfil OzHarvest aims and goals and relevant funding requirements
• Accountability of NEST equipment

To be successful for this role you will need:

• Qualification in Nutrition, Dietetics
• Car Licence and vehicle to deliver off-site workshops
• Current First Aid Certificate or equivalent
• Read and understood the OzHarvest Safe Food Handling Policy
• Police Clearance Check
• Working with Children Check
