OzChild is excited to launch a new Restoring Families MST-CAN® team in Goulburn, and we are looking for passionate, committed therapists who want to make a real difference in their community.

MST-CAN® is an internationally recognised, evidence-based program supporting families experiencing significant challenges, including abuse and neglect concerns. Working alongside families in their homes and communities, you will help create meaningful, lasting change for children and young people.

About the Role

As an MST-CAN® Therapist, you will:

  • Deliver intensive therapeutic support to children, young people, and families
  • Work collaboratively with Child Protection and local community services
  • Use evidence-based approaches including family systems and CBT interventions
  • Manage a small caseload with strong clinical support and supervision
  • Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call roster (1 week in 4)

About You

You are someone who believes families can change and children deserve the opportunity to thrive safely at home.

You will bring:

  • Master level registered Psychologist or Social Work, or Bachelor Degree in Psychology or Social Work, with equivalent and relevant clinical experience plus registration
  • Experience supporting vulnerable children, young people, and families
  • Strong therapeutic, assessment, and risk management skills
  • Knowledge of trauma, family systems/therapy, CBT, and child protection practice
  • A commitment to culturally safe, evidence-based practice
  • Demonstrated clinical experience working with high-risk children, young people and families
  • Strong background in trauma-focused therapy, CBT interventions, and family-based therapeutic models
  • Experience in risk assessment, safety planning, and child protection practice
  • Ability to provide structured therapeutic intervention within complex, multi-agency systems
  • Sound clinical judgement, reflective practice, and capacity to work intensively in high-risk environments
  • Commitment to culturally safe, evidence-based clinical practice

What We Offer

  • SCHADS Level 6.1 $110,102.72 salary + super + salary packaging $15,900 plus $2650 meals & entertainment
  • Full time permanent
