Do you love meeting people, building relationships and getting involved in the local community?
We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing and self-motivated Community Engagement & Partnerships Lead in the Marketing & Engagement team.
This is a newly created role with a minimum of three years’ funding, giving you the opportunity to shape how OzChild builds community partnerships and recruits foster carers across Melbourne’s western and south-eastern suburbs.
No two days will look the same. One day you might be presenting at a local school, the next networking with sporting clubs, attending a community festival or meeting with local businesses to build new partnerships.
If you’re happiest out in the community rather than sitting behind a desk, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll become the face of foster care recruitment across priority communities.
You’ll build trusted relationships with community organisations, businesses, schools, sporting clubs, cultural groups and local leaders to help raise awareness of foster care and encourage more people to take the first step.
You’ll have the autonomy to identify new opportunities and see the direct impact of your work through foster care enquiries and partnerships.
Experience working with culturally diverse communities will be highly regarded.
When you join us, you'll become part of an organisation that's committed to strengthening families and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
For a confidential discussion about the role, contact:
Mevan Jayawardena - Executive Director Engagement & Experience call 03 695 2297 or email [email protected] using the subject line: Community Engagement & Partnerships Lead enquiry via EthicalJobs.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a police check and all safety screening before commencement as well as hold a current WWCC
