About the role and its impact

We are currently seeking applications for a part-time/full-time (0.6 – 1.0 FTE) Senior Clinician - Supervisor to join our Orygen Digital team. This position is fixed term and is available until 30 July 2021 with the possibility of renewal subject to funding. Based at Parkville, you will initially commence working from home. As such a reliable internet connection will be required.

As the Senior Clinician, you will manage the delivery of clinical support on Orygen Digital’s Moderated Online Social Therapy (MOST) platform. You will provide clinical supervision and will train, monitor and support this workforce to ensure they deliver high-quality and safe practice. This role will also provide significant input on the continued development of the MOST application and service model and associated materials as required, whilst providing input on its implementation within clinical settings.

As a guide, remuneration of $100,000 - $115,000 per annum pro rata plus superannuation is offered, dependent on skills and experience; NFP generous salary sacrificing opportunities are also available to the successful candidate.

About you

To be considered you will need:

• Fully qualified Psychologist, Social Worker, accredited mental health Occupational Therapist, mental health nurse or other mental health professional with eligibility for appropriate membership with accredited registering body
• Developed experience working in a clinical setting within the youth mental health system
• Experience supervising psychologists, social workers, and allied mental health professionals 
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team to deliver a high standard of client care and support
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary clinical practices, health practice legislation and professional ethical standards 
• Current APHRA or AASW registration
• Approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia (only required for Psychologists)
• Passion for novel agile digitally enabled models of mental health care for young people

Desirable (not essential)

• Experience delivering and supervising digital, telehealth and telecare service delivery
• Post graduate or speciality training in area of discipline, or clinical mental health.
• Area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology
