About the job

The Digital Clinical Service Improvement Officer will play a critical role in integrating Orygen Digital’s MOST platform with Victoria’s mental health and wellbeing system. The role will work with a range of health and wellbeing services to deliver service gap analysis, co-creation of digitally-enhanced service pathway improvements via MOST, as well as training, onboarding, and support for staff using MOST.

Reporting to the Clinical Implementation Lead you will:

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with mental health and wellbeing services to support the successful integration and ongoing use of the MOST platform.
  • Collaborate with service staff to identify local service gaps and co-design digital solutions that improve access, care pathways, and outcomes for priority populations.
  • Provide training, onboarding, troubleshooting, and culturally safe support to clinicians and services across diverse settings, including rural, remote, and First Nations communities.
  • Drive digital integration and continuous improvement by streamlining service pathways, tracking implementation metrics, and incorporating service feedback into practice enhancements.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored implementation approaches, localised resources, and broader operational support across multiple services.

The ability to travel across Victoria is a key component of this role.

Skills and experience

The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

  • Experience working in youth mental health, complex healthcare settings, or digital health initiatives, with an understanding of Australian mental health service models.
  • A relevant qualification in mental health, health, health management, service design.
  • Demonstrated experience in service design, service improvement, and implementing new models of care or digital integration initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with clinicians, leaders, and external partners.
  • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage diverse clinical services and deliver clear written and verbal information.
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, as are applicants with strong knowledge or experience working in regional and remote communities with a high proportion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
