Knowledge Translation is seeking a Clinical Consultant/Educator to provide support to mental health practitioners working with young people with intellectual disability. Our team has been funded by the Dept of Education and Training to provide point of care advice to mental health practitioners employed across Victoria state secondary schools. The rollout of this initiative now includes practitioners in specialist schools, with a focus on supporting practitioners who work with young people with complex physical, neurodevelopmental and intellectual disability. You will be well supported operationally and clinically to ensure your career at Orygen is both fulfilling and rewarding without compromising on your life goals.

The Clinical Consultant/Educator is a specialist role in our workforce development team, providing great opportunities to broaden and develop project management and consultation skills within a supporting, positive workplace culture. The role joins a broader team of clinical consultants and educators working to provide practice support and advice to mental health practitioners working in secondary schools across Victoria. This role will primarily provide support to practitioners employed to support students in specialist secondary schools, and build capacity internally to respond to requests for advice from mainstream schools.

Depending on your skills and experience, a salary of $100 - $110K p.a. (pro rata) is offered plus superannuation and access to generous NFP salary packaging.
