Your Skills and Experience

In response to significant business growth, ONCALL is searching for an additional Payroll Manager to lead the payroll services team.

Reporting to the Executive Manager of Finance, this role will share the responsibility of the delivery of payroll services and ensuring external regulatory and legislative obligations are adhered to.

Additionally, you will manage the:

• Accurate and timely payroll processing for weekly paid casual staff and fortnightly paid permanent office staff
• Preparation and completion of all payments, records, reconciliations and forms associated with payroll, to external parties
• Providing high quality and proactive customer service to employees and managers on matters relating to payroll
• Assist with other tasks in the Finance Department including reporting, assisting in other administrative tasks and projects as requested by the Executive Manager of Finance

To achieve this, you will possess:

• 5+ years leadership experience within a volume payroll processing environment
• Demonstrated in managing a full payroll function with strong attention to detail
• Experience leading a small team
• Experience in payroll / financial systems
• Experience in working with awards/Enterprise Agreements
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with managing external party obligation in relation to payroll including, Tax, Superannuation, Child Support, Work Cover, etc.
