Job Description

Join a purpose-driven organisation and team making a real difference in people’s lives. In this lead role, you will drive high-value fundraising across major donors, corporates, trusts & foundations, and the capital campaign - building meaningful relationships, and delivering sustainable impact.

Working closely with the CEO, Executive Directors and Board, you’ll shape strategy, grow income, and play a key role in expanding vital services for people affected by addiction. This is an exciting opportunity to build and strengthen a high-value fundraising program in a supportive, dynamic and collaborative environment.

One direct report. Flexible work arrangements and salary packaging available.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in high-value fundraising (major donors, trusts & foundations, and/or corporate partnerships)
  • Strong track record of growing income and meeting targets
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing staff
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, including engaging senior stakeholders
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and grant writing
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM systems (preferably Raiser’s Edge)
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for purpose-driven work
  • Flexibility to attend occasional out-of-hours events and travel to site locations as part of stakeholder engagement
  • Right to live and work in Australia.
  • National Criminal History Check <1 yr old
  • Working With Children paid employee Clearance.
  • COVID Vaccinated.
