The primary responsibility of the Trainer/Assessor is to develop, prepare, deliver, assess and evaluate skills and training to ensure compliance requirements for the delivery of programs are met in accordance Nulsen Group P&P

What you’ll need:

  • Current qualification in Training & Assessment (Cert IV or above)
  • Demonstrated training and assessment experience within the disability or community services sector
  • A sound understanding of adult education, learning principles and best practice in delivering training to groups with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • A confident and enthusiastic approach to delivering first class face to face and online education
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to quality and detail
  • Commitment, flexibility, initiative and the ability to work as part of a growing team
  • Sound skills in working independently, managing a range of tasks and own workload whilst working to meet competing priorities and deadlines
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and computer skills

This role will include:

  • Deliver training and education workshops to groups of adult learners in a range of formats including classroom, video conference and on the job training
  • Coordinate and conduct work-based competency assessments
  • Develop and review the association’s training resources
  • Effective coordination and communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Track staff skill sets and ensure skill competencies are up to date
  • Work collaboratively with the Workforce Development team to provide efficient assistance with recruiting tasks 
  • Contribute to ongoing training needs analysis and review by collecting feedback and providing solutions where needed
