The Program Delivery Office in the Government Relations Branch is responsible for delivering key inter-governmental reform projects and cross-portfolio program commitments on behalf of the Ministry of Health. 

About this role

This is a unique opportunity to improve outcomes for Aboriginal women, either through expanding existing programs or ensuring Aboriginal communities play an active role in the development of future policy, programs and services. In this role, you will lead evidence-based approaches to policy and health service enhancements and work towards delivering and managing projects. The successful candidate will require a strong interest and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander culture, will have a background in public policy, and an understanding of the NSW government health strategies and priorities. 

This team works closely with Aboriginal communities, and we are committed to providing a culturally safe and supportive workplace with flexible working arrangements for all staff.

What you'll be doing

Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver key inter-governmental reform projects and cross-portfolio program commitments on behalf of the Ministry of Health. This will include the design and implementation of evidence-based policy and strategy projects to prevent and respond to violence, abuse and neglect with a particular focus on expanding and improving access to existing and future specialist domestic and family violence services for Aboriginal families and communities.  

Clerk Grade 11/12, salary from $134,411– $155,445 p.a. plus supper and annual leave loading.
