CID is a peak body representing the rights and interests of people with intellectual disability in NSW.
CID undertakes advocacy, information provision and projects that advance the rights of people with intellectual disability.
To facilitate training programs for CID’s Individual Capacity Building (ILC) funded project. The My Choice, My Decisions project will focus on building the skills of people who live in group homes to make decisions and to speak up.
You will be able to co-develop and co-facilitate training workshops with your colleagues with intellectual disability.
You will be keen to engage with people with disability, and their families and allies, to build capacity with the vision to ensure people with disability are at the centre of the decision making process in their life.
You will be competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interviews are planned for the week of 5 October 2020.
