Managing Employment Lawyer / Senior Employment Lawyer

Northern Community Legal Centre

Make a difference by helping create safer, fairer workplaces for women and creating lasting change.

Are you an experienced employment lawyer passionate about advancing gender equity and workplace justice?

We are seeking a Managing Employment Lawyer to lead, and a Senior Employment Lawyer to help deliver the Working Women’s Centre Victoria (WWC Vic) service, as part of a consortium within Northern Community Legal Centre, to support women to achieve safe, fair and equitable workplaces.

Working Women’s Centre Victoria (WWC Vic) is a statewide program providing trauma-informed legal services grounded in a gender-based and feminist lens. The program aims to build a gender equitable society where women workers have access to decent, safe and fair work. We support all workers who identify as women (including cis and trans women), as well as non-binary workers.

Our work focuses on employment law, including discrimination, sexual harassment, underpayment, unfair dismissal, and insecure work.

We combine legal advice and representation with community education and systemic advocacy to improve workplace rights and drive broader reform. Working Women's Centre Victoria
