Northern Illawarra Neighbour Aid (NINA) is a community-based not-for-profit organisation, supporting older and vulnerable people to remain active, connected and independent within their local communities.

We are seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused Administration & Project Support Officer, to provide reception, administrative and operational support across the organisation, while assisting with a range of projects and service improvements.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role, offering a broad mix of customer service, administration, scheduling, coordination and project support, within a small, collaborative team.

About the Role

As the first point of contact at NINA, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the organisation.

  • Maximum-term Contract: 12 months
  • Hours: 30 hours per week across 5 days

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reception, telephone and email enquiries
  • Client enquiries, bookings and scheduling support
  • Administrative support across all program streams
  • Website content updates and digital communications support
  • Newsletter, social media and community engagement administration
  • Support for organisational projects, system improvements and service enhancement initiatives

About you

You are an organised and adaptable administrator who enjoys working with people, solving problems and contributing to positive outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems
  • Confidence learning and using new technology platforms and digital tools
  • Experience updating website content, online forms and digital communications will be highly regarded
  • Experience with project management, CRM, or scheduling systems, including Monday.com and Rosterfy will be highly regarded
  • Ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
