3Bridges is a vibrant and progressive southern Sydney based community organisation providing families and individuals care management, crisis intervention, counselling, childcare and other support services. 3Bridges works with the most disadvantaged, from the very young to the frail aged, relieving suffering, distress, misfortune, destitution or helplessness.
3Bridges allied health services including occupational therapy and exercise physiology help maintain safety and independence through home assessments to assist with daily activities and safety through equipment, home modifications and task adaptation.
The home modifications and maintenance team keep clients living safely and independently with a team of qualified tradespeople, working with occupational therapists to design the most appropriate home modification solution including minor and major home modifications.
This role is responsible for overseeing the growth and operations of the allied health initiatives, programs and the allied health team. Reporting to and working with the general manager of youth, disability and community you will define strategic objectives and directions and take ownership of the development and implementation of the treatment, therapy and education services. You are currently working for a like-minded organisation having developed your career as a health professional with experience ideally but not essential in the provision of supervision and leadership to therapists, support staff and students, and have an understanding of NDIS, billing and compliance.
You understand the need for evidence-informed, client centred allied services and have advanced assessment, clinical reasoning and evidence-based intervention skills. You have a relevant degree and eligible for AHPRA registration. You will require a valid working with children check, an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a criminal history clearance.
