With a 40 year history, we are the "go-to" organisation for primary health information and person-centred services in the outer and rural north of Melbourne.

We are currently looking for a Paediatric Speech Pathologist at a Grade 1 level to join our energetic, busy and dynamic team. Full-time or Part-time position available.

Let's talk about the role

The Speech Pathologist is a member of the Children's Allied Health Team which includes a variety of Allied Health Professionals who work together to provide coordinated multidisciplinary care. The position will work between all Nexus sites.

The Children's Allied Health Speech Pathologists provide clinical assessment and evidence-based treatment of various speech, language and swallowing related conditions through individual consultation and group programs for children up to 17 years.

We work with children with feeding, speech, language and literacy disorders as well as children with mild to complex disabilities and learning difficulties.

Let's talk about you

You are passionate about what you do and show initiative. You may be a recent graduate or alternatively have a few years of experience in the field. You will have sound knowledge of typical and atypical speech and language development in children. You will have experience working with children, including children with a range of disabilities. Experience working within NDIS will be valuable.
