About Us

The Hunter Adults Financial Collaborative (HAFC) has recently rebranded to New Leaf Foundation. The foundation is a registered not-for-profit organisation run by a dedicated, volunteer board of business and professional leaders. Our mission is to empower financially disadvantaged individuals to find meaningful employment or launch their own businesses. We also work closely with refugee support services to help new arrivals thrive.

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and self-motivated Media & Marketing Associate to elevate our digital presence. This is a highly flexible, work-from-home contract role, perfect for a freelancer, parent returning to work, or a skilled university student looking for meaningful industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Manage our social media pages, craft engaging content, and schedule posts at optimized times to grow our following.
• Content Creation: Develop eye-catching advertising and marketing materials, including digital graphics, social posts, and print pamphlets.
• E-Commerce Advertising: Manage and optimize advertising efforts for our online shop.
• Public Relations: Write, pitch, and negotiate media releases as required to boost New Leaf Foundations local visibility.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications / Training: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent vocational training. We also welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate equivalent industry experience and a proven track record of success in these areas.
