Exciting opportunity is available within a highly respected not‑for‑profit organisation seeking a skilled and passionate Business Development Manager in the Aged Care sector.

The aged care system is changing fast with Support at Home. There is real opportunity, but also real complexity. We are looking for someone who knows how to navigate that and turn it into growth, leveraging the strong blueprint the organisation already has throughout NSW in other service areas like disability and community services.

About the Role

This is not a traditional BDM role. The organisation already have service capability across home care in one market. What we are looking for is someone who can build momentum in new markets from scratch, open doors, and convert demand into real outcomes for people and families.

You’ll be both a strategic relationship builder and a growth driver, identifying opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and positioning this non-for-profit organisation as a preferred provider in Aged Care.

About You

  • You know how to build and own a pipeline new markets, not just support one
  • You know how to both develop and flawlessly execute go-to-market strategies – building new business
  • You can develop strong referral networks with hospitals, GPs and community partners
  • You’re comfortable having real conversations with families about care and funding
  • You convert enquiries into active services
  • You’re accountable for outcomes

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in business development, or relationship management (Aged Care highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Aged Care sector
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term partnerships and influence stakeholders
  • Commercial mindset with a passion for improving care outcomes for older Australians
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with a focus on results

Requirements

  • National Police Check (within 3 months)
  • NDIS Worker Screening
  • NDIS orientation module - or willing to obtain
  • Working with Children Check
  • Drivers Licence
  • Right to work in Australia
