 Job Description

Job details:

  • Sydney, but will consider other locations
  • Full- time, 38 hours (5 days)
  • Fixed-term contract until 30 June 2023, with possibility of extension (only include if applicable).

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • An understanding of the management, sustainability, capacity, and practice challenges faced by not-for-profit and for purpose human service organisations, or the ability to quickly develop that understanding and a passion for contributing to the disability sector.
  • Demonstrated workforce development and change management experience and a good working knowledge of tools, resources and approaches that improve workforce development capabilities and competencies.
  • Experience in identifying and managing business development and tender opportunities and bids.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strategic thinking, analysis, problem solving and advice on development and management of a program or service.
  • Proven capacity to develop cogent project proposals and prepare quality reports within strict time frames and across multiple projects and to present these to a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent consultation, communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated capacity to motivate, influence a wide range of stakeholders, providers and external audiences.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Qualifications:  

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, organisational/business development or other relevant disciplines, would be highly regarded.
