The National Centre of Indigenous Excellence Aquatic Centre is committed to providing educational programs which aim to develop competency in the lifelong skills of swimming, water safety and survival, health and physical activity. We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced people to join our Aquatics team in the following role:  

Learn to Swim Instructors:

We operate lessons for all ages from babies through to adult classes. Our Learn to Swim Instructors provide safe and fun learning experiences to encourage confidence, safety and enjoyment for students in the aquatic environment.   

We are looking for people who are committed to an inclusive approach to service. Our customer base is diverse, and we love what this offers our workforce and want someone that can ensure all our customers feel welcome.

You will bring:

• Can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Flexible availability to work across 7 days including public holidays.
• Austswim Certificate - Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or Royal Life Saving Swim Teacher certificate.
• Austswim INF (infant and preschool) will be highly regarded.
• Current CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificates.
• Current Working with Children Check, National Crime Check or the ability to obtain one.
