About the Position

The Team Leader will be responsible for developing and delivering programs to support the goals of the participants individualised NDIS plans as well as providing direct participant support. The role will lead, guide and mentor Disability Support Workers to ensure the programs are being delivered to a high-quality standard.

About You

  • Previous experience and/or demonstrated knowledge in working in children and adults.
  • Strong leadership capability.
  • Ability to assist in planning and implementing group-based activities that suit participant preferences.
  • Capacity to design and deliver suitable activities for children with varying disabilities.
  • The understanding of Mandatory Reporting and Child Protection legislation and procedures
  • Proficiency in computer-based programs, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently
  • Outcome-focused and results-driven approach to program delivery
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to suit a diverse audience.
  • Strong written communication abilities, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
  • Relevant qualifications in leadership, community welfare, disability or have equivalent to.
  • You will need to hold a current: Working with Children Check (WWC), NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (NDISW), NSW Driver Licence & Current First Aid Certificate.
