About the role

NACCHO receives funding to manage the COVID-19 program which aims to build the capacity of our member ACCHOs to prepare for and respond to COVID-19. The Program manager will be responsible for coordination and management of the COVID-19 program. The Senior Project Officer will work alongside team members to achieve program outcomes.

We are seeking a motivated with the below capabilities

• ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, demonstrating understanding and sensitivity to cross-cultural issues;
• adaptable and confident in coordinating and managing a range of tasks;
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a part of a hardworking and collaborative team.

Qualifications and experience required

• Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience including, program/project experience and/or relevant work experience.
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples (not essential but highly desirable)
