The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body representing 148 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). ACCHOs deliver comprehensive primary health care to more than half of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples nationally.
The Assistant Director, Cancer is a key member of the NACCHO Cancer team, responsible for inspiring the team, taking responsibility for delivering quality outcomes and following through on project milestones. This role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail, the ability to manage competing requests, demands and priorities, and stakeholder collaboration.
The successful candidate will have a positive, contemporary attitude, and lead culturally responsive efforts and engagement to enable the ACCHO sector make a real difference in the lives for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities experiencing cancer.
