NAAJA are currently seeking Criminal Solicitors to join our Criminal Law team. Positions will be based in the Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs offices.

The criminal law practice consists of criminal solicitors working in the areas of youth summary, indictable and appellate crime, supported by administrative and client service staff who play a vital role in ensuring the provision of effective legal services to our clients.

The right candidates will have:

• A commitment to providing access to justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
• 12 months post-admission experience in criminal law is highly desirable
• Skills in cross-cultural communication and an ability to work with a diverse team 

The positions offer attractive employment benefits including:

• Salary of CrimLO1.1 $69,331 – CrimLO2.1 $77,885 per annum, dependent on experience + superannuation

• 6 weeks annual leave per year with leave loading

• Remote allowance for positions based in Katherine and Alice Springs
