Murray PHN spans the northern Victoria area from Mildura to Woodend and eastward to Wodonga including Albury NSW. Servicing this area we have staff located throughout the catchment and offices in Albury (North East), Bendigo (Central Victoria), Mildura (North West) and Shepparton (Goulburn Valley).
This high profile role plays an integral part within our Corporate team.
We believe that the successful candidate will have both depth and breadth in their experience and management of all areas of procurement, with an ability to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
Your knowledge, skill and ability to influence will have been developed over at least 7 years’ experience working in procurement and contracting. You’ll demonstrate a high level of initiative and judgement, and provide timely legal, procurement and probity guidance to key stakeholders.
If you’re the successful candidate you will enjoy an environment where you’re able to add value throughout all stages of the procurement process. You’ll lead and develop your own team whilst working very closely with our Commissioning team.
Your passion for probity and a methodical approach to work, particularly during high periods of demand will be necessary for this role.

Your previous experience and technical knowledge will ensure that procurement processes for Murray PHN, for both commissioned services and corporate procurement, are aligned with the company strategic objectives.
Being an employee of Murray PHN, you are entitled to salary package up to $15,900 per Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) year on everyday Living Expenses. In addition you can also Salary Package up to $2,650 on Meal Entertainment. This means your take home pay will be larger.
