Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with communities, stakeholders, clients and project partners. 
• Support culturally safe and community-led engagement with First Nations communities, including interviews, focus groups, yarning circles, workshops and training sessions. 
• Apply and promote culturally significant frameworks and principles, including Barri Marruma, Connecting with Country and other relevant approaches. 
• Coordinate Place projects and project activities, including planning, scheduling, logistics, stakeholder engagement and workshop delivery. 
• Undertake desktop research and support the collection, analysis and interpretation of qualitative data. 
• Prepare reports, presentations and other project documentation that communicate findings, insights and recommendations.
• Support proposal development, business growth activities and the successful delivery of consulting projects.
• Collaborate across Murawin's teams and contribute to continuous improvement, innovation and organisational goals.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholder relationships. 
• Experience supporting research, data collection, analysis and the preparation of high-quality reports and written outputs. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Experience supporting project management, stakeholder engagement, facilitation or community engagement activities. 
• A strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, cultures and contemporary issues. 
• Ability to work collaboratively within a geographically dispersed team and deliver outcomes under pressure. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving ways of working.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
• Understanding of confidentiality, professionalism and working in sensitive environments.
• Willingness to travel as required, hold a current driver's licence and be able to obtain a Working with Children Check. 
• Previous consultancy experience and relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable but not essential.
