MSWA provides vital support and services to people living with all neurological conditions in Western Australia.  This includes people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, motor neurone disease and acquired brain injury.

We employ a diverse range of professionals from allied health to event management, marketing and nursing, and community services to finance. The role:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join us on a fixed term contract (maternity leave cover) until August 2021. This is an integral role in the delivery of service through the provision of effective and efficient service as part of a broader Member and Client Services Department.

The role of Customer Service Coordinator is integral to the organisation’s ability to deliver personalised and professional service and will play an important part in the growth of the organisation’s customer base.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to phone and email enquiries in a professional, friendly and timely manner
  • Maintaining excellent record-keeping of all calls, questions, feedback and enquiries
  • Undertaking ongoing customer feedback calls and providing action reports to relevant areas
  • Work within a customer-centric practice framework to ensure positive outcomes for clients
  • Creation and updating customer records and profile information
  • Coordination of MSWA Membership Process

About you:

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines within tight timeframes
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong-values and a desire to help people living with a neurological condition
  • Experience working with minimal supervision, exercising initiative as required
  • An understanding of the NDIS is desirable but not required
  • Experience in a service delivery environment, working with people with disabilities and engaging with their families.
