At Mortgage Stress Victoria (MSV), our vision is fair mortgages and secure housing for homeowners in debt.

We're a specialist statewide community legal centre, providing free financial counselling, legal, and social work services to Victorians in mortgage stress. Our clients are complex, ineligible for other intensive supports, and often at risk of homelessness. MSV’s casework informs our systemic advocacy work.

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator is a newly created part-time role (3 days per week). We're looking for a creative, energetic and experienced communications and marketing specialist to drive awareness of our services across a range of platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Operations and Access, you'll work closely with our Policy & Campaigns team, our Program Managers and caseworkers, and develop a national social media presence that engages diverse target audiences including including help-seekers, service providers, referral partners, Government departments, sector leaders, commentators and policy makers.

The successful applicant will be organised, flexible and responsive, and will have:

1. Demonstrable experience implementing and contributing to strategic growth of brand awareness.
2. Experience in managing successful social media and marketing campaigns across a range of platforms to diverse (especially CALD) audiences.
3. A nuanced understanding of need to tailor communication style, content and strategy to different audiences.
