MLDRIN is seeking a Cultural flows Project Officer to work with its Cultural Flow's team to deliver First Nation Cultural Flows' projects.

About this role

  • Full-time
  • Two year fixed term role
  • Melbourne based but open to other locations/work from home/hybrid
  • Travel involved

The Cultural Flows Projects Officer is responsible for:

  • Working with Nations to plan and implement on-ground Cultural Flows projects to identify First Nation water objectives and requirements
  • Providing assistance throughout the project lifecycle, including project planning, on Country facilitation, data analysis and report writing
  • Undertaking general research on Cultural Flows and First Nations' water rights to support the Nation's Cultural Flows project as required

We are looking for someone with:

  • Commitment to Traditional Owner self-determination
  • Understanding of Cultural Flows and water rights
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • A commitment to culturally respectful engagement
