Haven; Home, Safe and Mind Australia have formed a consortium to assist people experiencing homelessness to transition from temporary hotel accommodation into housing as part of the Victorian Government’s From Homelessness to a Home (H2H) program. The H2H initiative is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on homelessness and rough sleeping in Victoria.
We are seeking a compassionate, resilient Aboriginal Housing & Recovery Coordinator for a 6 month fixed term, part time (30 hours per week) opportunity to make an impact on homelessness in the Geelong area. Working from home, you will deliver recovery-orientated outreach supports to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to enable obtainment of affordable housing, promote health and wellbeing, and provide holistic services to prevent a return to rough sleeping. As this position requires travel across the Geelong region a fully maintained company car is provided.
