A part of the Royal Commission team, you will assist in implementing the Royal Commission Management Plan, work to support the planning, preparation and effective management of a robust process for all activities relating to the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability and the National Redress Scheme. and support the delivery of relevant contracts and agreements that are the responsibility of the Royal Commission Team.

Key focus of the role:

  • As an integral member of the Royal Commission Team, collaborate across the business in the discovery of Royal Commission records and information, as directed bythe National Redress Scheme Specialist.
  • Assist in the preparation, planning and effective management of the Royal Commission Management Plan
  • Provide research and administrative assistance for the Royal Commission reports, papers and briefs as required.
  • Support the application of the Discovery Framework and contribute to the management of the operational databases to facilitate accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Coordinate the Royal Commission Team’s contracts and agreements relevant to the Project Officer role.
  • As a key administrator, effectively support the National Redress Scheme Specialist in responding to all enquiries and request for information from both internal and external stakeholders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Participate as an active Royal Commission Team member on working groups to ensure that the issue of critical and sensitive data is protected.

To be successful in your application you will require:

  • Relevant qualifications or proven experience as a Project Officer
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (Or current DHS Disability Services Employment Screening clearance)
  • Other clearances may be required such as Working with Children Check
  • Current, valid and unrestricted South Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in project administration and support
  • Experience in providing responsive and effective customer service and stakeholder management
  • Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Proficiency/ ability to develop knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office 365 products
  • Time Management and the ability to prioritise competing work demands
  • Experience in assisting projects to effectively address issues and delivery within strict timeframes
