Micah Projects is a community based not-for-profit organisation with a vision to create justice and respond to injustice at the personal, social, and structural levels in church, government, business, and society. We believe that every child and adult has the right to a home, an income, healthcare, education, safety, dignity, and connection with their community of choice. Micah Projects provides a range of support and advocacy services to individuals and families.
The Supportive Housing – Hope Street team is based at Brisbane Common Ground and delivers support through a Housing First model. Each element of supportive housing, from building to support service design, aims to create the greatest degree of empowerment and independence for people. The onsite team works alongside tenants to sustain and maintain stable housing, coordinate support needs, assist tenants to set and achieve goals, and build the support systems needed to live independently.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Service Coordinator to provide direct planned support to tenants, support staff, and assist the Team Leader in managing the daily operations of the team. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide case management, coordinate tenant support, foster positive stakeholder relationships, and contribute to a safe, respectful and trauma informed environment that promotes housing stability and independence.
