This key role will be responsible for the effective management of grants and grants compliance, overseeing and ensuring the integrity of our organisation's internal audit processes and compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, and grants management.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, compliance regulations, and grant management processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Proficient in relevant software tools and applications
• Experience working with a team that is remotely located and self-managing in a work from home environment.
