MHPN works to strengthen the existing primary health workforce to improve referral pathways and practitioner expertise through the promotion of interdisciplinary practice and collaborative care.
MHPN engages general practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses (both mental health and general), social workers, occupational therapists, counsellors and a range of related health practitioners working in primary care, in public and private settings and in communities across Australia.
MHPN aims is to provide a platform to promote interdisciplinary practice, through three interrelated programs:
MHPN is funded by the Federal Department of Health and Aged Care.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant & Office Manager encompasses the dual responsibilities of providing confidential administrative support to the CEO and Board; and overseeing office management duties including HR coordination tasks. Previous experience in the key deliverables listed in the position description is required. This is a part time role (30 hours a week).
