Metro Assist Limited has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Dress for Work Program Coordinator to join our SETS and Employment Programs team.

Dress for Work is a unique in-house social enterprise developed and operated by Metro Assist. The program aims to empower men, young people and other vulnerable job seekers to gain confidence and development skills to become self reliant, providing them with work attire and tools to thrive in work and life. It encompasses two components: the provision of quality work attire to men, as well as employment ready support to any vulnerable job seekers in the form of one-on-one coaching and group workshops.

Reporting to the Manager – SETS and Employment Programs, the Dress For Work Program Coordinator is responsible for the management and day to day coordination and operation of the social enterprise and program across a wide variety of tasks, including stock and booking management; the provision of job coaching and employment workshop services; business development; stakeholder and corporate relationship management, and ensuring the smooth running of the service for clients, volunteers, supporters and partners.

The provision of work attire to men has a focus on eligible newly arrived migrants and refugees and other vulnerable cohorts including disengaged youth and Indigenous job seekers.
