ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a Permanent Full Time position located in the heart of Footscray at Saltwater Mental Health Clinic. A recently refurbished building with great access to transport and diverse local food. You will be part of a recovery focused multi-disciplinary team, working with people who experience mental illness and mental health problems, who live within the Maribyrnong/Hobson’s Bay Area. You will be working within a recovery based framework providing case management and working across other functions/roles within the team.

  • Permanent full-time role including an ADO - RPN3/Allied Health Grade 2

  • Provide high quality, evidence based treatment to consumers within a recovery orientated framework

ABOUT YOU:

  • Registered with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Psychiatric Nurse or;
  • An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Experience in delivering treatment or care to people experiencing mental illness, and their families, using a recovery based framework
  • A team player who has experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team
  • A good working knowledge of The Mental Health Act and it's role in community treatment

Mercy Mental Health (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
