About the opportunity:

We are seeking a RN or EEN to step into an Aged Care Funding Coordinator role within Residential Aged Care. In this role, you will be part of a small and supportive team where you will drive funding optimisation, compliance, and clinical documentation excellence, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify changes in care needs and support accurate funding outcomes.

This is a site based role with travel to our 3 regional RAC homes in Shepparton and Bendigo.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EN) registration with AHPRA.
  • Proficiency in using clinical documentation systems and data analysis tools.
  • Extensive experience in residential aged care, including assessments and funding processes.
  • Strong understanding of legislative requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for training and education.
  • Expertise in funding and clinical documentation processes.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective training sessions tailored to staff needs.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Effective analytical and decision-making skills to support clinical and operational goals.
  • Skilled in developing and utilizing tools to streamline documentation workflows.
  • Capability to support funding readiness and compliance.
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and their practical application.
  • Knowledge of aged care funding arrangements, fee structures, and regulatory framework.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
