Mentis Assist provides support for people with diagnosed on-going mental illness/psychosocial disability. The NDIS Recovery Coach is a brand new, exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
As an NDIS Recovery Coach you will support participants to build capacity by assisting the person to understand their NDIS plan, and to develop, monitor and review their recovery plan goals. The successful applicant will provide coaching to the participant and work collaboratively with families, carers, providers and other supports to connect the person to a broad range of NDIS and wider system services.
We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of the NDIS and with significant experience in the mental health field. The key to this role is building strong, respectful relationships that promote capacity and resilience through periods of complex challenges.

A minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Mental Health or Mental Health Peer work is a requirement of this role. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is essential. Lived experience will be very highly regarded.
If successful, in your application for Recovery Coach you will work within our Support Coordination team at our Mornington office and support clients in our Frankston, Mornington-Peninsula and Casey catchment.
