Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Coordinator Maternal and Child Health, we are seeking an accomplished performer to work with the Maternal and Child Health team to provide leadership, supervision and support to staff to deliver optimal Maternal and Child Health (MCH) service. The successful candidate will provide specialist services and deliver service reforms.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and must hold qualifications in Maternal and Child Health nursing that are recognised in Victoria;
  • Experience in all aspects of the Maternal and Child Health service with a strong knowledge and understanding of current theory and practice issues relevant to the service;
  • Strong team engagement skills to drive an emotionally intelligent, supportive and high-performance culture;
  • Communicate effectively with particular emphasis on issue resolution;
  • Well-developed organisational, administrative and time management skills;
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks relating to vulnerable clients.
