About the program

The Operations Manager, Youth Support and Accommodation position leads and manages our MCM Youth Foyers, the CIAO Lead Tenant Program, Targeted Care Packages, and the Better Futures Program. This year will see a strong focus on driving an exciting change piece to enhance our Foyers, support accreditation, and reset the MCM Foyer future vision.

About the role

This unique leadership opportunity requires a passionate and experienced individual with strong leadership, managerial, and change management skills, including a commitment to drive innovation, build strong partnerships, and advocacy skills.

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor's Degree qualifications in Social Work, Youth Work, or related community services field, and significant leadership experience managing and leading multiple programs.
  • A clear understanding of contemporary evidenced youth homelessness and/or transitioning care service delivery models, including Youth Foyers.
  • Strong ability to support, develop, and supervise leaders and teams to facilitate improved outcomes for young people experiencing homelessness/ at risk, including driving accreditation and quality improvement.
  • An understanding of the homelessness service system with knowledge of patterns, trends and systemic issues, and principles in working with at risk young people.
  • Strong partnership management skills
