The opportunity:

Join the National Child and Family Hubs Network as a Senior Project Coordinator (Capacity Building Lead) and help drive initiatives that strengthen services for children and families across Australia. In this impactful role, you will lead capability-building projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, develop national frameworks and resources, and support evidence-informed practice across the Hub network. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful systems change while working with researchers, community organisations and government partners to improve outcomes for children and families.

What you’ll do

  • Develops a workforce Leadership and Capability Framework with a range of Hub stakeholder working groups
  • Develops a national practice framework for Hubs
  • Manages capability building support for Hub staff, including learning collaboratives, communities of practice, webinars, newsletters, website content and conferences
  • Leads project management from submission to delivery across multiple projects within budget
  • Recruits, supervises and mentors a small project team

What you’ll bring

  • Degree/Honours/Masters/PhD qualification in a relevant field (e.g. public health, health promotion, education, early childhood)
  • Extensive project management experience delivering multiple projects within budget and agreed timeframes
  • Proven experience navigating and engaging with multiple organisations and stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated experience leading, supervising and mentoring staff to achieve project outcomes
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
