The MacDonnell region is located in the centre of Australia. Covering 270,000 sq km and with an estimated population approaching 7,000, it has a unique beauty with picturesque water holes, magnificent flora and fauna, red desert sands and rugged mountain ranges.
This position will be based in our Alice Springs Office, which is the regional headquarters to councils' 13 remote communities and outstation locations.
As the Coordinator Home Care, you will be responsible to review, develop and maintain Aged and Disability Service policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with standards, funding and legislation. You will also be responsible for coordinating the development and maintenance of Aged and Disability service Quality Improvement plans.
Our successful candidate will ideally hold minimum diploma level qualifications in community services or equivalent experience. The applicant should also be able to demonstrate experience in developing policies and procedures and knowledge of National Aged care standards and the ability to work in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment.
