MAA International (Muslim Aid Australia) is a faith-based humanitarian and development organisation delivering sustainable programs and emergency relief to support vulnerable communities in Australia and globally. Through partnerships, donor support and community engagement, MAA addresses poverty, education, health, food security and humanitarian needs across 30 countries. 

Position Purpose 

The Digital Producer leads the creation and delivery of engaging digital content to drive brand awareness, community engagement and fundraising outcomes. The role manages multimedia production, social media, and digital storytelling, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and impact-driven messaging. 

Key Internal Relationships: 

Brand & Creative Lead, Community Fundraising Manager, Donor Care Team, Programs Team, Data Analyst, Fundraising Team and Executive Leadership Team. 

Key Responsibilities 

Content Strategy and Digital Storytelling 

Plan and deliver content aligned to campaigns and organisational goals. 

Video and Multimedia Production 

Produce and manage video, photography and digital assets. 

Social Media Management 

Manage platforms, publish content and optimise performance. 

Community Engagement and Audience Growth 

Engage audiences and build strong online communities. 

Campaign Support and Fundraising Content 

Support fundraising campaigns with digital content. 

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration 

Collaborate internally and manage external contributors. 

Brand Management and Governance 

Ensure brand consistency and ethical content standards. 

Selection Criteria 

Essential 

  • Experience in digital content creation, social media or digital marketing
  • Strong videography, photography and editing skills
  • Experience managing social media platforms and communities
  • Excellent storytelling and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with digital tools and content platforms
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Experience analysing and reporting on digital performance
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders 

Desirable 

  • Experience in not-for-profit or humanitarian sector
  • Knowledge of fundraising and donor engagement
  • Experience with paid digital campaigns
  • SEO, website and analytics knowledge
  • Event and campaign content experience
  • Understanding of the Australian Muslim community

  • Professional, organised and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage pressure and deadlines
