Your opportunity to champion the education, well-being and employment needs of La Trobe University students

La Trobe Student Union (LTSU) is seeking three Advocates to find solutions for students engaging with  La Trobe University’s staff.  Advocates will represent students in dealing with La Trobe University staff across academic, wellbeing and wider personal issues. Advocates will also officer advice and guidance to students, so they are enabled, knowledgeable and confident to engage with La Trobe university.

Two roles will be based in the Melbourne Bundoora campus and one role will be based at the Bendigo campus. Occasional travel will be required by Advocates between all six La Trobe University campuses.

La Trobe Student Union (LTSU)  is the peak representative body for La Trobe University students at the Melbourne Bundoora campus.  Our representation is led by and for students and incorporates the International Students Association and MASO Mature Age Students Organisation.

To work onsite in higher education, TAFE, training and adult education settings, the Victorian Government requires workers to provide evidence to their employers that they are fully vaccinated with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine or have a medical exemption evidenced by an authorised medical practitioner. This position will require the incumbent to work onsite.
