We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Youth Worker to join the Western Sydney Migrant Resource Centre's Youth Services Team on a part-time (4 days per week), fixed-term maternity leave contract until mid-June 2027, with the possibility of extension.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about empowering young people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, including newly arrived migrants and refugees, to reach their full potential.
Working within our Youth Program, you will support young people aged 12–24 through individual casework, group programs, workshops, community engagement activities and school-based initiatives. Every day will provide the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping young people build confidence, develop life skills, strengthen their connections and successfully navigate education, employment and community life.
This is more than a Youth Worker role—it's an opportunity to be part of a passionate team that is creating positive change across Western Sydney while growing your own professional skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This position is classified as a Social and Community Services Employee under the SCHADS Award, starting Level 3.
