Lighthouse Foundation provides therapeutic care programs to children and young people impacted by long-term neglect, abuse and homelessness. Our focus is to create caring communities where young people can feel safe, form meaningful relationships and begin to heal.
The Team Leader role provides a unique opportunity to be part of Lighthouse’s new innovative Youth Outreach Program, which aims to support young people in or leaving out-of-home care (OOHC) and those supported by Targeted Care Packages. The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing the day to day management of the program and working in collaboration with the Manager of Youth Services & the Clinician to lead the Youth Outreach Team. In this role, you will ensure children in out-of-home care (OOHC) receive intensive, therapeutic, and targeted individual support, enriching their safety, attachment, and physical and emotional development. In addition, with clinical guidance and support, you will implement effective and thoughtful case management to ensure that children, young people, families, and carers receive integrated and coordinated quality services. The role will also hold a small case load of young people and will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of therapeutic case management.
