Relationship Matters is a dynamic, values based not-for-profit organisation, specialising in human relationships and interpersonal communication. We are passionate, dedicated and committed to making a difference by providing high quality relationship counselling, dispute resolution and relationship education services to individuals, couples and families.

Relationship Matters also provides Employee Assistance Programs, training and consulting to workplaces, as well as Accessible Psychological Intervention programs.

About the role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of Relationship Matters South Eastern Branch
  • Team leadership and community networking
  • Family and couples counselling
  • Management and Clinical Supervision
  • Group Education

About you

Having Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a Behavioural / Social Science and / or postgraduate studies in Relationship Counselling or Family Therapy, and with a minimum of 5 years management experience, you will be proficient in family / couple counselling, clinical supervision and management of teams. You will also have the ability to guide a team to provide exceptional counselling services and to promote the profile of Relationship Matters in the community.

A professional in your field, you can work independently while leading a cohesive, committed and high performing team. With a high level of ethical standards and well-developed interpersonal communication skills, you will have the capacity to manage and ensure high standards of practice.

Professional registration with AHPRA, APS or AASW is essential and previous experience working as a manager in a human services environment would also be highly regarded.
