About the Role

The purpose of the Project Manager is to provide strategic and tactical management, planning and delivery of projects.

We are currently recruiting a dedicated resource to promote and facilitate strong community engagement for your Queensland Community Support Services (QCSS) program.

This position is being offered on a full-time contract period of 12 months and is based at our State Office in Shailer Park. Due to COVID-19, we are currently working a combination of in the office and at home till further notice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improved sector awareness and preparedness
  • Support Marketing with development of promotional materials and fact sheets
  • Establish strong referral bases (hospitals, medical teams, community health services, housing providers etc.)
  • Establish referral pipelines and tracking of referrals and conversions
  • Workforce planning
  • Support the Operations team in the transition of client base
  • Implement reablement model of care which includes training for supporting mental health and palliative care
  • Set up and track targets for regions
  • Work with the Operations team to build program and coach managers in program responsibilities and management
  • Work with Director and Department to continue to advocate and resolve external issues
  • Strengthen partnerships with Access Point, Mental Health providers and contractors
  • Establish and embed process for tracking and reporting on goals and impact on reablement
  • Work with Lumary (rostering) team to set up an implementation plan for QCSS program

Skills & Experience

  • Proven project management experience in high demand environments with sound knowledge of Project Management methodologies and “best practice”
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in human services, project management or similar areas
  • Knowledge of human services policy and practice in Australia
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver positive outcomes in project management roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive material, demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, and operate with integrity and honesty
  • Demonstrated ability in time management, organisational skills and well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement within the context of high-risk matters

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
