About the Role

The number of individuals choosing Life Without Barriers as their provider of choice is growing each day – this is why we need you to join our team! 

We are recruiting an Administration Officer to join our Aged Care Team in Unley, on a 12-month full-time contract to support the Program and team. Your excellent organisation, planning and administrative support skills will be critical to your success in assisting the team in effectively managing workload. You will need excellent communication skills for this role as you would be the first point of contact for enquiries for the Aged Care program.

This is a challenging, fast paced and dynamic role requiring organisation and experience in a similar position working with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high level administrative support to the Program
  • Liaise with Aged Care clients and contractors regarding service provision and maintain accurate and timely data records using key systems
  • Provide efficient administrative support to the team including report preparation, collection and distribution of information and documentation for meetings and State events, workshops and reporting requirements
  • Undertake administration task process improvement and develop systems to accurately support organisational requirements for corporate processes i.e. ICT, finance, people safety and culture and grey fleet management
  • Be a strong contributor to the broader SA administration team as required

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in providing senior level management and team support and assistance in a large, complex, geographically dispersed organisation
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion in dealing with commercial, private or personal information
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities and ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated initiative for identifying opportunities for improvement and process efficiencies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, contractors, funding bodies and government agencies
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and presentation ability

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the position).
