Lifeline Australia is a National Charity providing all Australians experiencing a personal crisis with access to 24-hour Crisis Support and Suicide Prevention Services.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Learning and Organisational Development Manager, the purpose of the Registered Training Organisation Program Learning & Development facilitator is to maintain RTO Compliance across operational, training assessment activities for Lifeline programs while promoting high quality, consistence service delivery across Lifeline national services.

In this role, the L&D facilitator is to collaboratively work with internal and external subject matter expects and stakeholders to develop, design and deliver effective and engaging training materials.

The perfect candidate will have a positive, ‘Can do attitude and approach to go ‘above and beyond’ in a faced paced thriving environment. They also must be a creative thinker that thinks ‘outside the square’.

Experience and Education:

Essential Requirements:

  • RTO administrative and compliance skills and experience
  • Customer Service and Relationship Management Experience
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years’ experience in program planning and project management skills
  • Knowledge and application of the Standard RTO’s 2015 and VET sector reporting systems, policies and procedures

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Experience in Learning and Development
  • Mental Health Sector experience

Position Duties:

Key activities of the position will be:

  • Manage day to day operations to ensure consistency through legislative requirements, quality standards and performance against goals and objectives
  • Review and continuous improvement
  • Effective Administration and Record keeping
  • Mapping of training to units of competency
  • Annual declaration and other stat requirements
  • Technical support for all training matter with lifeline Australia
  • Any other ad hoc duties as they come up
